1963 ford falcon ranchero

1963 ford falcon ranchero deluxe. original 260 v8. converted to a tremac 5 speed. mustang bucket seats and console. warmed up 260 with edelbrock and comp cam goodies. everything is new from the rechromed bumper to the back. original texas truck/car. have the original title! was a great, fun project to go with my other old fords and mercury. i did all the work myself in house including the body and paint work. it is dupont orange crush pearl and pearl white. the interior is all new as well including headliner, carpeting, seats, dash pad, windsheild, door panels, etc. this is an original 260 v8 car/truck. the rear end is the 8" with 3.25 gears and i just added a posi unit (boy are they tough to find in an 8") and lakewood traction bars as i found it really needed them after adding the posi unit. i also converted it over to a tremac t5 z box 5 speed manual from the auto that was in it. it uses a cable clutch and all components are new as well. i took it to a car show in south haven last year and the show was at gingerman raceway which is like a trans am track and they let us drive on the track for fun. they told us to drive safely and keep the speed to around 60. YEA RIGHT! i can tell you that the speedo will go past 120 mph. just a great, fun car/truck to drive.
