After raising a family I found myself focusing on all the old Camaros I had in my youth. I responded to an ad and the car turned out to be the 67 Camaro rs that I had sold 30 years earlier in another part of the state. At that point I decided to hold nothing back and began an 18 month ordeal of restoring the car from the ground up. I spent so much time with the car that my wife nicknamed it "The other woman". I actually had the car when we were dating. The original 327 and transmission were already gone so the main changes were installation of an L72 425 hp 427, M21 4 speed, correct 67 12 bolt with factory traction bar. The car is a rare heater delete model with Sierra Fawn paint that was on less than 2% of 67 Camaros. I have since tracked down all of the owners including the original owner that I purchased it from back in 1978. We're planning a get together this summer to celebrate the car being back in its glory and to hear some good stories from day 1 with the original owner and everyone that followed. Learned an awful lot in the restoration process and left no screw unturned. It is a pleasure to drive and I look forward to getting it to some shows this spring.
