this is my 1973 chevy nova ss hatchback that i made a 1970 yenko duece clone i bought the car in april 2009 for 5,000 then over the next year i completely disassembled the car and used a d/a sander to strip the paint off i swapped out the whole front clip for a 70 front clip, and with the guidence of bill davis who's no profesional but hes been around these cars for 50 years and as he says "i had these cars when they were new" so he knows a thing or two more than i do, so all my questions were forwarded to him, i welded new metal in the doors and hatch, plug welded all the nameplate holes and passenger mirror holes shut, put new quarter panel center patches and lower quaeter panel patches and new outter wheel houses in, cut out the 73 tail light panel and welded in a 70 tail light panel, skimmed all the seams with duraglass, smoothed everything out with rage blocked the quarters straight sprayed etching primer followed by appoxy primer a coat of guide coat wet sanded everything then sprayed five coats of fathom blue metalic base and 4 coats of clear which i then wet sanded and buffed to perfection then after i let it bake in the sun for two weeks i carefully applied white 1970 yenko duece stripes
