Well where do i start? Growing up my father had a wide assortment of muscle cars (many of he wish he still had!!!) I have been looking for a good project car for a long time but I really wanted to get one when the oldest was around 14 or so but my budget wouldnt let me get nothing descent enough. Well the oldest Nick got to be 18 and joined the Navy and off he went to start a new life and we never got around to that father son project!!! We did do a couple of newer cars for him to drive. Now the middle boy Alex was 14 so i continued my search. I went to alot of car shows and swap meets the summer of 08 but never saw anything that caught my eye or wasnt overpriced. I found this car and a deal was struck.I got it home and me and the boy stripped it right in the driveway and i couldnt believe the shape it was in for a 38 year old car!! No rust to be found on the floorboards and i didnt snap a bolt off during the whole rest due to rust!! There was one spot on passenger rear quarter and trunk floor due to leaks in the rear window. Alex wanted to work on this car every day after school and he took most of the car apart by himself. I got it on the road in june 09 and drove it all summer and even won a couple of trophies at smaller car shows!! I had a blast working on this car with Alex but have even more fun driving it The Charger is 1972 SE 400 4bbl with auto trans!
