This is my 63 Wildcat convertible. This car was bought new by my father from my neighbor if you can believe that. I’ve been working on this car for 34 years but it’s time to do the body work again and the old nail head is tired. This classic rat rod motor could really use a rebuild. Two years ago I equipped the car with the OEM dual quad intake with the twin Carters. After the last restoration I did show this car, it took a few trophies but never a first. The thing about showing this car was that I never saw another one. Back in the day Buick sold this car as “Buick’s liveliest” and it certainly does turn heads because this is a car you just don’t see every day. If I was to win this contest I would want to restore this car to pristine condition and bring the power back to that great nail head engine. It’s been a dream of mine since I was five and some day that dream will come true.
