1933 CHEVY 5 WINDOW COUPE, owner Roger Hermann. Custom red with Planet Color additives (custom engineered by owner) and FLAMES, all done in Martin Senour tec-base. 350 Chevy LT1 with 350 horse hydraulic cam, Wieand Stealth aluminum intake, 670 Holly street avenger carb., and HEI ignition, 350 turbo with b&m shift kit, and ‘67 Camaro rear end. Car is chopped 2 inches, has remote door openers (suicide doors) with hidden hinges, power windows and electric trunk opener. Custom three piece hood (hood side panels are removable for easy engine access), and upholstered running boards. Interior is red vinyl with red carpet, custom built and upholstered dash with digital gauges. Front suspension is Mustang II control arms and spindles, spring towers and front cross member are custom built by owner along with caliper mounting brackets to run GM calipers and larger rotors. Steering is Mustang power rack. Rear suspension was changed in the winter of 2009 from leaf springs to a triangulated four link and coil spring design. Started building car in 2000, took it for its first ride under its own power in April 2009. All work on the car (except cutting the glass for the windows and boring the block) from designing suspension, boxing frame, wiring, upholstery, building engine and trans. and exhaust to paint and flames was done by owner.
