Who: Matt age 19 What: 1985 Buick Regal Where: West Chicago IL Why: My Grandma gave me the car when I was fifteen; the cars motor was shot the body had rust in every panel and there was not a panel without a dent. I started to restore it myself most of the neighbors thought I would never get it running, everyone was shocked that a fifteen year old rebuilt the turbo motor by himself and got it running again. The next thing to do was the body, by age sixteen I started to do the bodywork myself; I did the rust repair and brought it all down to bare metal. After hours and hours of bodywork and rust repair, I painted the car myself in the garage. I am now nineteen and I still drive this car almost every day I even took 2nd place in my first car show; I think I did well for my first restoration.
