1994 Ford Mustang

This is my 1994 Ford Mustang. I got it in 1998 when I was 16 and have been daily driving it ever since. It originally was a 3.8 liter 232 cubic inch V6. It was very reliable but never got the respect it truly deserved.

My husband and I did a complete 5.0 swap. We used a 1986 302 block that had already been rebuilt which was bored 30 over. We got GT-40p heads off a 2001 Ford Explorer, which we ported, an e303 cam, a 1993 Cobra R upper and lower intake manifold with a one inch phenolic spacer, Ford Racing ceramic coated headers, underdrive pulleys, and we modified my old v6 cold air intake to work with the new setup. It last dynoed at 251rwhp, 295tq.

We resprayed the engine bay with Omni paint color matched to the fuel door. The block was painted Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Ford Blue. The heads and accessories were painted Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Aluminum. And all engine bits were clear coded with the same product.
