SJ all the way. There is no challenge with a 55 Chevy. Parts are readily available(repro). Try restoring a Grand Prix parts are almost impossible to find and once found they need to be restored!

I have to say that since there were practically no parts that needed replacing on the GP that the fact that full size pontiac parts are more difficult to source is completely besides the point. The Truck had a restoration. The GP, a freshening up.

Yes..you are correct John Henry..but If we restored the truck to ORIGINAL condition I doubt we would have won...Chevy only wishes they would have done it the way we did it... Thanks for the congratulations.
